Busy Village

The last few days have been very busy at the Village.  On Saturday we held the first Jazz event on the Village Green which was extremely well supported and we have been asked to do more.  So watch for details of another event, which will be late in September.

On Sunday 21st, it was the Antique Machinery Restoration Society’s engine run day, and other clubs also were in the village – the Caboolture Gem Club, and the Family History Club were open.

Tuesday 23rd saw so much activity in the Village that the car park was overflowing!  All those wonderful folk who take care of our children near school crossings had a conference – all the “Lollypop” men and women met in Stanmore Hall, and at the same time a “Biggest Morning Tea” was held in the Historic Hotel by the Halcyon Group to raise fund for the Cancer Fund. There was wonderful music and awesome food!
