The light is a Philips DVF-102 and the lamp was a sealed beam 240V Par56 300W.
It was reinstalled after World Expo 88 to uplight a gum tree on the Brisbane River.
In January 2011 the light was submerged and battered by over 5m of flood height of the Brisbane River. After removal of debris and mud, it still functioned.
The Sitescape Luminaires included dozens of these lights, together with 1,000 1kw and 200 2kw theatrical profile spotlights. Most of the spotlights were recovered and resold to schools and theatres throughout Australia, with dozens of the 2kw spotlights going to the Boondall Entertainment Centre.
