Happy Birthday Woodies
Happy BIrthday to the Woodies – the Caboolture and District Woodcrafters are celebrating their 18th Birthday this weekend. It is 18 years since they became incorporated. Their Club house is in the Village, and the many members there enjoy their woodworking. They participate in many of the events at the Village and will be there with items on sale for the Heritage Fair on June 18th.
During the year, they are always busy learning new skills and making a myriad of toys which they donate to community groups just prior to Christmas.
Check their website here for details about the Club – they always welcome new members and enthusiastically teach men and women woodworking skills. Contact details and opening hours are on their website.
Some of their work is on display in the Reception area of the Village and they are happy to show folk around their club rooms to see what their members have been making or working on.
The Club runs regular courses in beginners woodturning,
pyrography and other courses as may be required from time to time.
