There is plenty to do at the Village – with an opportunity to explore the 70 plus buildings which depict how life was in the Caboolture area in the early days of settlement in the region. Josie the donkey would like to see as many children as possible – she loves to have visitors, but please be careful, as she sometimes gets very excited.
The Volunteers at the Village are working on some new exhibits – which will be ready later in the year, but one that is fairly new is the Goat Soap Shoppe – so don’t forget to visit Aunty Joy in the shop and learn how she creates soap from her goats’ milk.
The Rainforest should be great after all the recent rain too – and is much fun for exploration! Don’t forget to visit the Gem Club. The children love seiving for gems in the club under the supervision of the Gemmies’ Volunteers.
