Photos from National Flag Day at the Village

The weather was perfect, and the visitors came to the Village to celebrate National Flag Day, celebrated on the Saturday closest to the official flag day, (September 3rd).  It is a celebration of the first time the Australian Flag was raised in 1901.

The event commenced with the parade around the Village and the official Flag Raising and Speeches in front of the Museum dedicated to the 11th Light Horse.  Federal Member Wyatt Roy, Member for Longman, officially opened the new Aviation Museum.
