Wildlife Encounter – Holiday Program

Geckoes Wildlife are joining our Holiday program at the Village this September!
Get up close and learn about wildlife with a meet and greet. Pat an Australian marsupial, an owl or tawny frogmouth, pythons, lizards and turtles. (Animals are subject to availability on the day) Wildlife encounters run with some specific requirements to ensure the welfare of all the animals and the safety of all guests.
In addition to the Wildlife encounter you will get to see demonstrations from our blacksmith and a whip cracking demonstration utilising whips used to drive cattle in bygone years. A ride on the Village train and a visit to the gem club before your choice of a hot dog or sausage sizzle lunch. The rest of the day is free for you to explore the 12 acres of historical displays and buildings, so a full day with lots of great activities to enjoy!
$25 per child (includes entry to the village)
No entry fee for one accompanying adult/carer.
Normal entry fees apply for accompanying visitors.
Accompanying Adult Lunch $5:00 each.
