Caboolture Historical Village was recently reviewed by Spinal Life Australia and their Field Officers found a welcoming and inclusive environment for travelers with a disability. They also commented on our provision of accessible amenities and assistive equipment.
"When arriving at the Village, visitors with appropriate parking permit will find 5 designated accessible parking bays close to the entrance, ramped entry (threshold ramp) into the Visitor’s Information Centre, and three accessible toilets. Maps of the Village mark the accessible and non- accessible buildings and there are walking frames and wheelchairs available (free of charge) for those who require them."

Currently the Village is making a concerted effort towards transforming our historical buildings into accessible ones.
Our vision is to present the Village as a place where persons with disability and mobility challenges can access and enjoy the same opportunity and experience as all other visitors.
We are currently implementing a plan to make more buildings accessible by installing ramps to some of the buildings. However, there are challenges in making historical buildings accessible due to the constraints of the buildings themselves, but we are hoping to get people as close as is practically possible to each of the buildings.
The Village also welcomes accredited assistance animals and their handlers.
